Oh,c’mon. You can say that because you don't have them in your neck of the woods.Do the Maoris or Cook Islanders have any equivalent to gypsies? If they do,what's your attitude toward them? And as for police helicopters...yah,it could be true that their main purpose is to issue traffic tickets but I'll wager that they,at least occasionally, are used for far more important things.

Yeah, the Cook Islanders and the Maoris have an equivalent of the Travelers ~ they are called “white people”.

As you’ve traveled to New Zealand you’d certainly be aware of the Maori/Cook Island/Samoan/Tongan gangs, which are something of a cross between gypsies and the Hell’s Angels. I think they’d be a fairly accurate approximation of the Gypsies.

They’re OK. I’m not anti-gang. They tend to keep to themselves, they tend to be anti-authority, and while they can be extremely violent it is usually between themselves. I have met a few in my time, and while I don’t move in their circles I found nothing particularly objectionable about them. They are different but no worse company than, say, the local Cosmopolitan Club.

One group in particular are quite interesting: they are a gang that roar about on motorcycles and do all of the typical gang stuff and get into the usual gang shenanigans. And they are all devout Christians. Go figure.
