Wow, i knew pension plans were a problem, but I didn’t realize they were this generous.

Plenty more are on the way. There were over 38,000 CA state employees who made at least $100,000 in 2007 - many were paid well into six figures. You can view the individual salaries in descending order, either by department or overall, at the following sfgate link:

More of what we already knew. State employees have become pompous, callous tyrants. They treat tax money like a bottomless entitlement and expect deference. Virtually all believe themselves under-compensated.
