I will not compromise my values for the sake of expedience nor to win elections. It's a sad day in America when people will compromise what they believe in just so they can say they won an election. Either we believe in what is good and right and moral, or we lower our standards to what we're told is "good for us" when it is not. Becoming the enemy is not an option, especially when that enemy lives among us as alleged fellow Americans.
Thank you, SoldierDad!! Compromise has only brought us grief.
This aberration of people giving up what they believe to win elections, be liked, or even survive is really a follow-on to the “Better Red than Dead” mantra of the 1970s.
The left, through its control of education and the media, has successfully implanted this cancer into the minds of too many Americans—to include those who describe themselves as Republicans.
People who subscribe to the nonsense of giving up their core belief system, so they can be part of a ruling class, are devoid of morality, principle and critical thought. They certainly have no clue as to how America, in about 240 years, transitioned from a British colony to the preeminent enconomy and military power in the world.
Personally, I welcome their coming to grips with who they really are and their departure from the conservative scene. Their selfish and juvenile whining are just getting in the way of meaningful and thoughtful discussion about reclaiming the Constitution and traditional America.
Those are the things most important, the things by which we will all be judged in the end. Please send our best to your Son and may his instruction keep our soldiers safe.
“I will not compromise my values for the sake of expedience nor to win elections”
Soldiersdad nailed it. Powell, specter, et al. are the reason the ‘pubs are lost now.
Amen and KEEP THE FAITH!
