Damn the RINO complaints, FR continues fighting the good fight! [FReepathon thread XVII]

Received yet another complaint from a prior donor:

"The thread about who is a troll tells lots. FR is not welcoming to newbies. But the younger generation of potential conservatives has to be heard. Conservatism is changing, and we need openness, even when it challenges.

My son as well as me was a previous supporter of FR, but he quit; “these guys are extremists, and they can not win elections via labeling. In 10 years the whole debate about stem cells will be as ridiculous as the “debate” about baby carriages.”

In 10 years most of us 1999 Freepers will be dead. If I posted this, I would be banned as a troll. So I am inactive and leave FR with regretss for what FR has become.

I move my support to Darwin Central and Liberty Post."

[name redacted]

Well, I just don't know what to tell you. FR will remain a pro Life and Liberty conservative site. It's true that government schools have brainwashed the last couple of generations of our youth into believing that abortion, homosexual marriage, universal health care, global warming, open borders, big government, big spending, high taxes, etc, are perfectly normal and healthy for our citizens and our "democratic" society, but I just cannot bring myself to go along with all that liberal mumbo jumbo.

One more time: FR is pro-Life, pro-Liberty, pro-constitution, pro-traditional values, pro-small government, pro-defense and pro-America.

We oppose RINOism, liberalism, feminism, homosexualism, socialism, Marxism, globalism, fascism, communism, pacifism, government enforced atheism, anarchism or any other form of tyranny.

We fight for LIFE and Liberty and our religious freedoms as well as all of our other God-given unalienable rights. What God has given, no man, no government can rightfully take away. Our individual rights are not negotiable! Thank you very much!

Sorry, but I'm simply not interested in running a website dedicated to electing RINOs or turning the GOP into democrat-lite. If that means our fundraisers take longer or our donations dry up, then we'll find some other way to fund our operations. But we traditional conservatives (extremists to you) will continue fighting the good fight!

I will agree with you on one thing though. Those who feel FR should be more tolerable to the liberal point of view or that conservatism is changing and we should adapt to be electable are probably on the wrong website. Conservatism does not change, weak-kneed RINOS do.

“Conservatism is changing”

I would be interested to know what you mean by this.

“Conservatism is changing,.......”

It is eh!?

That statement strikes me as irresponsible, and actually as stupid as “The Constititution is a living breathing document”.

If “Conservatism is changing”, then what will I become?/sarc.

This aberration of people giving up what they believe to win elections, be liked, or even survive is really a follow-on to the “Better Red than Dead” mantra of the 1970s.

The left, through its control of education and the media, has successfully implanted this cancer into the minds of too many Americans—to include those who describe themselves as Republicans.

People who subscribe to the nonsense of giving up their core belief system, so they can be part of a ruling class, are devoid of morality, principle and critical thought. They certainly have no clue as to how America, in about 240 years, transitioned from a British colony to the preeminent enconomy and military power in the world.

Personally, I welcome their coming to grips with who they really are and their departure from the conservative scene. Their selfish and juvenile whining are just getting in the way of meaningful and thoughtful discussion about reclaiming the Constitution and traditional America.

The Republicans ran the Ultimate RINO, a 72 year old Dried Up Senator that ranks to the Left of even many Democrats and He Lost in a fairly close race with a leftwing Moonbat with a scrubbed clean backround including no medical records, no birth certificate, no school records, a lapsed law license and an Unrepentant Terrorist Ghostwriter for the Famous Memoir and the only reason it was a close race was a Great Conservative Republican, Sarah Palin, Fired up the Republican Voters and Made US Proud to be AMERICANS! Further, McCain was just a repeat of DOLE in 96! The American Voter wants a True Conservative with Principles and Character!

Someone give me some good arguments please. Got in a discussion about exactly this subject with a Lib the other day, and needed more ammo than “because” or even more than “because the Bible says so” -—

Of the things you listed that Conservatives believe/don’t believe in, they are all constitution-bases EXCEPT the anti-abortion and anti-homosexual pieces, which are religion-based.

So the question was something like “How do you bring religion into constitutional conservatism?”

The sub-question also came up: “How can some of you be anti-abortion but pro-death penalty and claim to be pro-LIFE?”

I was too tired and didn’t articulate well, so if y’all can help me with some come-backs, I’d appreciate it.

And then of course the topic of Muslim religion fanaticism came into the discussion - “How can you condemn them for their religious beliefs when you are politicizing your religious beliefs?” This one was easy to answer - because they want to KILL us for their religious beliefs!

I live in RINO central...NY

that is those who are not in the majority(Radical Democrats) are RINOs.

that being said.....I would vote for a Rudy or even a Pataki for Governor or even Senator. My reason being its the best we can get. (I actually like Rudy...he cleaned up NYC, although he tromped on certain aspects of the constitution in doing it)

Now I need to clarify even more. I would NEVER vote for a RINO in the republican presidential primaries...EVER.

if the RINO makes it as the Republican standard bearer, I would have to take a long hard look at who he is running against before I made a decision to write in or pull the lever for a third party.

Obviously I could not take the chance of making Obama the TOTUS so I voted for McQueeg....my choice being bolstered by the wonderful Sarah Palin.

I would like to thank you, Jim Rob, for all you do to promote patriotism in America.
