I absolutely knew this and have been belittled by my PhD friends for not believing. Canadian scientists knew this years ago. Their work didn't receive press in this country because it was politically incorrect. We will be brought down by political correctness in this country.

Many homosexuals now believe all people are homosexual: My theory is that everyone in the world is gay, but few dare admit it.

I hope Mr. Byrd comes through the inevitable scrutiny easier than Miss California is.

These kinds of explanations for homosexual behavior always seem subject to new interpretations or corrections. Until someone convinces me otherwise I’m sticking with my theory. Homosexual behavior is a symptom of a mental disorder.

You know I would think that common sense would dictate the nature/nurture idea, but hormones more than likely play one of the greatest roles. Testosterone itself plays a key role in masculinity, both physically & emotionally.

What’s horrible for a person is when they are born hermaphrodite. I met a little girl, 7 years old about 6 years ago. After knowing her for about 2 years, I noticed that she started going to school, the same school she had always attended, dressed as a boy. I gently asked her mother what was up with that, and she told me of her child’s condition and said that her daughter has decided she wanted to live as a male.

Her mother never let her wear a bathing suit because it outlined both of her sets of genitalia. I have to say the emotional trauma this child may experience from going through school where peers knew her as a girl, could put her/him over the top. I think I may have considered changing schools to give her/him a fresh start, with no one ever knowing his female side.

Some people say that they would have had one of the sets of genitalia removed at birth. Well, which one? This is difficult because you need to wait & see which way the child’s hormones are going to push their development, especially emotionally. But who decides this? As a parent, who would risk it? I don’t know what I personally would do if I had a child like this.

I think its a confusing issue, because of the emotions involved. The physical appearance doesn’t have half the impact that the emotional side has in pushing a person to a like gender.

It’s probably from all the toxins and possibly certain plastics in the environment. Even sunscreen contains estrogenic toxins that affect a developing baby’s sex organs and feminizes the baby.

Oh, thank goodness. I was sure when I read the Topic headline the APA had just voted and had decided heterosexuality was a mental disorder. Escaped that bullet for now, but for how long?

I've commented several times before on FR that the change in the DSM which removed Homosexuality was one based solely on political considerations, not on any evidence that homosexuality is a normal variation of the human condition.

I overheard an avowed lesbian say this “Do you know what the definition of a bi-sexual is? Greedy, just plain greedy.” On some bizarre level I agree.

My Psychologist PhD friend said that homosexuality was redefined to mean ‘a variation on normal’ decades ago. I asked her ‘what's normal about it?’. She couldn’t answer. Redefining words is a very destructive practice by the Leftist culture.
