MSNBC's Matthews: Palin Book Deal An "Embarrassment"

"She's [Sarah Palin] got this book deal. She's obviously not going to write it. They already announced she's going to collaborate on it, what an embarrassment," MSNBC's Chris Matthews said on "Hardball" Wednesday evening. "One of these I told you books the jocks do. Why they do it like this? She can't write. We have a collaborator for her," he continued. Matthews ended his rant by complaining she will get the title of "author" now.

We used to watch Matthews’ show when he still had rational moments. He used to play devil’s advocate to his guests, so no one was safe from a challenge, which was a way to debate without being boring. Then he started doing all the talking, particularly over his conservative guests’ answers; that’s when we stopped watching. I think his ratings have dropped, so the “shock” angle doesn’t seem to have helped. It must irk him no end that Shepherd Smith beats him in the ratings.

What's disturbing about Chris is that he looks normal. He could have played a smart military adviser to Patton in WWII, could have certainly done so in the movie version. But then sense as we know it left him and now he looks like he could play a commissar charge of shoe production in Stalin's regime. Mathews has no fans now, except for Uberfoole. They are keeping it a secret that rating have bottomed out, that the rating, instead of sky rocketing, are digging a hole to China. There is no end in sight, except for the Communist Chinese on the other side congratulating Mathews for escaping the US rating game by digging a pit for himself which he can never crawl out of. Mathews is Obama struck but GE will also reap the rewards for Uberfoole and Chris being the superlative hacks that they are. GE WILL get the Obama bailout.
