Dialysis patients typically need dialysis three times a week and the average reimbursement rate for each roundtrip to/from treatment with mileage is approximately $400-$500.

The real outrage is that we're paying $500 per trip for what amounts to taxi service. Makes the fraud these guys are running seem positively petty.
