Fr. Jenkins, your just’ reward will be waiting for you in the afterlife.
To: wagglebee
It sure is. Those graduating students should really boycott this graduation.

Seems like Fr. Jenkins views this as a big PR stunt or something...

Looks like Fr. Jenkins has been infected. There is nothing for me to admire about Obama.

"There is much to admire and celebrate in the life and work of President Obama," wrote Mr. Jenkins. Funny how the President of Notre Dame would be a Unitarian/Universalist.

Slavery and segregation remain an open wound only because Leftists like (ahem....Father) Jenkins are incessantly picking at the scab.

Fr. Jenkins epitomizes all that is wrong with the phony American Catholic Church!
Thank God for traditional Roman Catholic chapels and churches!
Many will have much to answer for when they meet their maker!

There is much to admire and celebrate in the life and work of President Obama. His views and policies on immigration, expanding health care, alleviating poverty, and building peace through diplomacy have a deep residence with Catholic social teaching. There is no charity in forced taxation. You give to Caesar what you owe Caesar, but that does not absolve your own obligation of tithing.
By the way, the Obamas have not been charitable with their own money. So what REALLY are his views on health care for those who cannot afford it and on providing aid and assistance to those in poverty?
