Most men I know, who have gone through divorce, have suffered financially as well as emotionally. Same has happened to women I know.

My oldest brother lost everything he worked so hard for...he got royally screwed. To this day, 20+ years later, he’s still supporting his ex financially with alimony (and he ain’t rich, he was a teacher), health care, prescription card, and life insurance. His kids are in their late 30s, early 40s. He’s still paying all of the above and until they reached 18, he also paid child support even though they lived with him.

He’s bitter but refuses to see how some of it was his own fault (or maybe he does and that just makes it worse). He didn’t fight it.

Men and women suffer from divorce and if there are kids involved they suffer the worst.

“To this day, 20+ years later, he’s still supporting his ex financially with alimony...”

Yeah can you imagine that injustice?

Talk about traditions that need to be done away with....

A comedian said somthing along the lines of t..... “we give alimony to women because they are used to having the man pay for everything... well I am used to having the woman commit sex acts...so I’ll pay her alimony and in return she comes over 3 times a week and does her whorish best.”

Imagine how that would fly?

It would be fair but alas that not what any of this is about.
