Hmmm.... it says (in part) — TSP is used in various forms as a boiler treatment chemical for calcium precipitation, and also to regulate the caustic effects of disodium phosphate in coordinated phosphate chemistry.

I wonder..., can I use it to clean out my coffee-maker?

I mean, if they put it in Cheerios, it must not kill you... LOL...

that’s the troubling part, TSP is used to clean surfaces. Have used it to clean concrete. It can be bought in containers at Hope Despot or any hardware store. While I can’t be for certain, I do think it’s the TSP in cheerios that gives me the runs.

Cream of Tartar works better; in a study by Consumer Reports (1987) of over 25 different types of cerals being fed to rats, only Cheerios and laboratory rat food kept the rats alive and flourishing.
