The cost of advertising is unreal. If I wanted to run full page ads in horse magazines, it would cost about $6,000.00 per page, per magazine. There are about 10 magazines per state across the country. The only ones that really make the money are the magazines.

Yes, the Internet is hurting many businesses. I myself can't remember when the last time I bought a CD or DVD, or in fact, a book at a local music or book store. I just do a simple click on Amazon and a couple days later I get it in the mail. No muss no fuss and I don't even have to leave my house to find a parking place somewhere down town.
