I agree that the days of Bush sucked too. I understand your point about the borders. We share the same sentiment.
HOWEVER, we have not been attacked since 9/11 and that was largely because of the measures Bush and his team put in place.
To state, as you did, “To say that Bush kept this country “safe” while leaving the southern border wide open is silly.” is to slant what KLT actually said and meant.
And I think you know it.
BTW, you will find very few people on this forum more conservative/right wing than myself or KLT. Very few.
