Obama's Lie of the Day is that he strongly disapproves of Sykes humor and is keeping his distance.

These vicious people still think that 99% of the population voted for Obama. They forget that it was only 99% of the AAs which is still only 13.5% of the US population. Do they realize that 48% of the people voted against Obama?

Remember, remember the 5th of November...

Is that the 1812 Overture I hear?

This dinner is NOT put on by the White House. It is the White House CORRESPONDENTS Dinner, It's just a custom for the sitting President to attend, and usually to poke fun at himself, and sometimes the press itself. One of the funniest was Nancy Reagan doing a skit to the song, "Second Hand Rose", which was poking fun at the press's fixation on her designer clothes wardrobe.

Of course, there have been times that the President has gotten nasty with folks in the press; witness X42 and his attack on Rush Limbaugh, when Janet Reno was Attorney General. I don't remember any of the recent Republican presidents going after any of the liberal press in a negative or mean way.

Of course the main speaker, usually a comedian or someone like that, has comments that will poke fun at the President, but not usually in a really mean way. Wanda Sykes did have a couple of funny lines toward Obama and Michelle. I don't remember them going after former candidates like Wanda Sykes did. It was tasteless and tacky, but she looked pretty pleased with herself.

My goodness that lady is rot awful ugly.

Anyway, the truth may never be known but I have my theory;

These so called jokes about Rush and other conservatives was not a creation of this so called comedian. She got a little help from someone in the White House as far as content & punchline.

Is it too cliche to say it’s amateur hour? You don’t need real comedians when the punchlines are scripted for you by Rahm,,,BTW any teleprompter sightings?

“Is it too cliche to say it’s amateur hour?”

No I refer to it as the White House junior high comedy club. The hits just keep on comin’!

What a bunch of juvenile twits.

BIG fan of the graphic novel, moderate fan of the Movie.

Heh. Maybe instead of tea bags, we should start mailing Guy Fawkes masks to the White Hut.
