You must not have heard of the rapture. More than anything else it was the glue of the Christian Right, which even someone as jaded as yourself will have to admit was a cornerstone of the defeat of the USSR. That in itself was pretty apocalyptic, as things go.

You're basically correct, if you are referring to the "Pre-Tribulation" rapture...that view did not gain popularity until around 1830.
However, there WILL be a "rapture" of the saints at the time of the first resurrection, which occurs at the return of Jesus. That's the day when He opens up a giant can of "whoop-ass" on the rebels who have rejected the Truth.

Im not into the rapture thing at all.
Just saying Israel has no friends outside of the US. Britian and the other eurotwats are just reluctant come alongs. If our support ended then ALL nations will come against Israel as prophisized.
