Why would ANYone take “advice” offered by his enemies???

Benedict Arlen is the least credible adviser the Republican Party could possibly have; he is to the GOP as brer fox would be to brer rabbit!

This story, like so many others, establish with an abundance of evidence that the “objective” national media is merely part of the liberal Democratic fold. Join them, and you are welcomed with bouquets of praise. Fight their machine, and they will bear down on you with all the tar and feathers they can muster.
To call yourself "objective" is to claim superior wisdom, like the sophists of ancient Greece who gave the word "sophistry" a bad name. "Objective" journalism is able to get away with its haughty claim because journalism is a monopoly. Naturally enough, that monopoly promotes itself as virtuous - and just as naturally, unprincipled politicians help journalism promote itself, and get along by going along with the journalism monopoly.

"Predictably, other Republican “moderates” took up the theme. (How you can be a “moderate” and support any of Obama’s economic radicalism is beyond me.) The New York Times handed over precious editorial-page real estate for Sen. Olympia Snowe to lament that conservatives forced her friend Specter out of the party and are “inhospitable” to moderates."

The GOP moderates' Arlenoscopy continues.

The Dems are standing behind their newest member....."showering him with praise"....

"The Democrats told me to stand outside....in the rain. Harry didn't even
give me an umbrella. But why is the rain so warm.......and yellow-colored?"

"Arlen, old pal, I hope you can read the cue cards when it comes time to vote.
You vote wrong and it could get real ugly. Nancy might even get out her whip."
