Sen. John McCain said Sunday that his party needs to be inclusive without betraying its fundamental principles.
. . . . .
Asked if being inclusive meant welcoming candidates and voters who support abortion rights or gay marriage, McCain said: It means that we can have people in our party who do not have the same views on specific issues, as long as we share common principles.

Who would vote for a phony Democrat when you can vote for a real one (many times)?

Q. Why doesn’t GOP leadership reach out to conservative Democrats rather than liberal moderates?
A. Because liberal moderates also believe in ‘common principles’ like exporting factories, jobs and dollars.

"In other words, the Republicans should be demoncrat lite on social issues."
So I wonder how he expects that to happen, and not betray the party's fundamental principles. I compromised my principles and voted for the McCain/Palin ticket, only because of Sarah. I'll never vote for another RINO candidate again.

follow the money.
how many homosexual advocates or advocate groups have given to McCain’s country first pac? How many gave mccain money in exchange for him using his daughter and campaign manager to endorse homosexuals’ lifestyle choice?

John, would you mind explaining what you mean by "principles," since you seem to think it's OK to compromise on absolutely everything?

My Dear Mr. McCain, you had your chance to lead the GOP. You failed. Now go pound sand, please.

Face it McCain...You’re a broken, hand shy, has-been.
We don’t need a suit from a can, life sized poster, as the face of the Republican Party, ready to crumple for the Dems on cue. .

Meg Whitman was caught on tape at the White House Correspondents Dinner laughing her head off at tasteless jokes about Rush Limbaugh (being the 20th hijacker/oxycontin). She’s another big-government Pete Wilson puppet. If folks liked Arnold, they’ll love Meg!
Why, oh why, do they keep pushing these liberals? (rhetorical)

This is what “moderating” your views looks like. It was his campaign strategy last year.
He’s getting worse not better. And he’s too stupid to know the Dems still don’t respect him.

McCain is like a stinking odor of pinto-bean induced excrement that just won’t quite go away. Every time you think it has stopped he just fouls the air all over again.
