We're only kidding ourselves to ignore what's building as you saw first hand. When your property is damaged or your life threatened over a poster or political stand and nothing is done by those who are to Protect and Serve then it's time to organize and stand ready.

I live inside the loop in Houston. My 'hood is nice, but close by are low-end folks who crave free stuff. During the last hurricane some of them made inroads here. My neighbors are nice but have absolutely no clue about this risk, and it saddens me that they will die in a social upheaval. And while I am overall a helpful, sharing person, there's no way I'm gonna lend out one of my guns just because an acquaintance had a "come to Jesus moment" at the 11th hour with a criminal trying to steal their stuff.
