“White Flight” from California has at least one bizarre and depressing downside.

For at least a decade King County (Seattle), Washington, has been the number two destination for white California residents leaving the state.

Yet, in 2008, King County voted 70% Obama to 29% McCain.

Insanity.

They destroyed California with that kind of voting.

Now, they are trying to destroy their new home, Washington state.

Well, DW & I moved from CA to Southern Oregon.

I can tell you right now that we felt right at home politically and kept right on voting the way we have always done.

If you want more taxes, the answer is no. And we don’t care what goofy excuse you give. If it is for the chilluns, you guys do without something and spend it on the chilluns.

As far as individual politicians go: “That government is best which governs least”. I always look for whoever I think will do the least and vote for him. The only exception is that every once in a long while someone runs for office who I just know is really going to gum up the works. Now there is my man.
