Naive, or more accurately, dumb and ignorant. Obama really believes the “wise men” he has appointed will solve all of our economic problems and create a paradise on earth. The true believers among the leftists have “faith” that government is the answer to all of our problems and will continue down the path of socialism until the pragmatists and machiavellian among the democrats stop them due to their own self-interests. They all will use the current situation to punish the groups such as oil, coal, and banking, etc. that they dislike thinking it is popular and helps the lower classes. They of course are wrong and the poorer types will suffer more from the leftist agenda.

Rush Limbaugh said they look incompetent but they know what they are doing. He knew they would move quickly. He also knew Obama would restructure America. Rush said his father warned him of something like this one day and that he cannot believe that day is here. (hint hint) Furthermore, he has never seen so many people fear their government. I just bet that is more true than we know. I see how willing Obama is to put ideology above the safety of the country and I don’t need to see anything else. I do not believe he has any interest in the safety nor the well being of America after what he has done so far.
I think, to get beyond a childhood of communistic (or even leftist) indoctrination, a person needs to have true empathy for others, coupled with an ability to make logical predictions of long-term consequences of actions.
It is inconceivable to me that anyone can see what Obama is doing and conclude that anything other than deep damage to the economy and society can be a logical result of that. I believe that a lot of leftists have a faith, unsupported by any facts or history, that, somehow, an egalitarian (but dirt poor) economy will lead to paradise on earth. That is their belief. They cannot comprehend the fact that earthly paradise is not possible, and the result of their deepest desire only leads to widespread misery.
thank you for saying that. I just drove from southern Oregon to Seattle for a memorial for my oldest brother, Steve. It was the first time that both sides of my husband's and my family got together, there were about 30 of us. The drive was absolutely gorgeous With the green grass hills rolling up to the snow covered mountaims and tall fir trees everywhere with bright green growth on the end of every branch.
All my family more than half of them under twenty five, were loving and fun and yet I had a pain in the pit of my stomach, how long can it all last? I fear for their future.
I too ask that nagging question, why does Obama and his cohorts want to destroy such a prosperous, generous and beautiful country?
