Sam Donaldson slams Rush -- Robert Reich to the rescue.
Immdediatly, Robert Reich, formerly Bill Clinton's Secretary of Labor and now a professor at the University of California at Berkeley, came to Rush's rescue -- essentially saying that Rush is a wonderful person.
While Reich was speaking, the look on Donaldson's face was priceless.
Well hooooray for Robert B. Reiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiischaaaaaa!

Maybe he likes the way Rush pronounces his name. I’m a little bit suspicious of why he would say something nice—not too many on the left that are decent these days. If his motives are sincere, than good for him.

Which is worse Rush Limbaugh, a talk show host, saying he hoped America failed (which is not what he said at all but bare with me for a minute) or the Senate Majority Leader declaring a war Lost when our Troops were being maimed and killed to get to the victory we are at now, or how about calling our President in a time of war a loser? Or how about a high ranking Democrat who called our Marines cold blooded murderers?
Where was there outrage then?
My recall has it that Reich and Limbaugh - early on in the Clinton years - met at some social affair, and that the two of them hit it off well together.
