OMG I am so sorry to hear about this..do you have a family history..Oh I see, so the lupus attacked the kidneys..Wow that is just terrible. So what will happen..do you need a kidney transplant, you can survive with one kidney, but you would have to find the right match..lupus is just a terrible disease, I know my aunt’s niece has it and she is very young, but she is still in pretty good health, has a few kids, it hasn’t attacked her kidneys, I wasn’t even aware it could do that til you told me. I am so sorry, I will pray for a speedy recovery. God Bless

I’m in the early stages; I have systemic Lupus which affects the organs, it has progressed to me also having Sorjgens Syndrome.... so now I see a renal doctor every three months to monitor me and a rheumatologist every four months or so and an eye doctor to monitor my eyes (look up Sorjgens and you’ll understand why)... they put me on an anti-maliara drug which I hate taking — sometimes the cure is worse than the disease — basically I keep on trying to live a healthy life and keep it from progressing rapidly. Of course, under Obamacare who knows what they would do with people like me...but I don’t find people making jokes like Sykes did tonight amusing at all.
