That may be so...but you can still be tried in federal court. US Supreme Court decsion in the 80’s I think. If state law allows this then you are subjected to a criminal court on the Federal level. Much worse prospect I think. Federal courts don’t screw around.

Bottom line in that opinion is that you can never ever use lethal force to protect property only life.

Shooting a human being is not a federal jurisdiction in itself.And if you can’t use lethal force to protect property,why do banks use armed gaurds?
