From a website:
“Chronic use can cause paranoia, hallucinations, repetitive behavior (such as compulsively cleaning and grooming or disassembling and assembling objects), and delusions of parasites or insects crawling under the skin. Users can obsessively scratch their skin to get rid of these imagined insects. Long-term use, high dosages, or both can induce full-blown toxic psychosis. This behavior is usually coupled with extreme paranoia.”
It also deteriorates the teeth and skin even if you don’t pick and scratch at the ‘bugs.’
Yikes. Remind me never to use meth. ;-P
Back in the heady drug hazed days of the late sixties and early seventies I tried just about everything, including crystal methamphetamine. It didn’t take long before the word was out that “Speed kills”. Everyone in the LA hippy and biker communities knew it forty years ago and (Most) stayed away from it. I have always been amazed that this drug gained new popularity as a result of the diminishing availability and increasing price of pot but that is just what happened in spite of the obvious price it exacts.
