The Obama administration is threatening to rescind billions of dollars in federal stimulus money if Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger and state lawmakers do not restore wage cuts to unionized home healthcare workers approved in February as part of the budget.
The workers, who collectively contribute millions of dollars in dues each month to the influential Service Employees International Union and the United Domestic Workers
The SEIU said in a statement that it had asked the Obama administration for the ruling.

This is SO illegal I’m not sure it’s true.
It’s no small wonder that some of the Governors refused some the “stimulus” money just for this reason. Zero is now going to shake down the states just like he did the banks and car companies. This really shows the depths that this administration will go to enforce its dictates with an iron glove.

No government employee...Federal,state,county,city,town,unincorporated village...should be allowed to unionize.
Obama is fast becoming a dictator. As long as it’s for the unions or ACORN he will be on their side. SEIU works with ACORN and they are the organization who got the buses to take the union employees to protest at the homes for those in charge of the auto companies. They were loud and vocal, and scared the families who they targeted. These are the thugs who are going to enforce Obama’s dirty work.
Pretty soon we’ll see Obozo’s thugs carrying violn cases.

...actually, Obama might be helping us out here with his blantant favoring of unions. It could help clarify to the average voter where the real battle line is...public employees vs private sector employees. We are being way, way overcharged for what government actually delivers. No one likes to get ripped off, whether conservative or liberal.
