To: luv2ndamend
"A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed."

How is this possible? Unlike the 1st Amendment which places restrictions upon Congress and the Federal Government the 2nd Amendment prohibits EVERYONE from infringing the rights of the people.

And we've seen how well that worked. Remember the armed uprisings that rolled back earlier infringements of the Second Amendment?
