Obama's Federal Budget Eliminates Funding for Abstinence-Only Education

Washington, DC -- Before he took over the White House, President Barack Obama made it clear he would cut abstinence funding. He has followed through as his new budget eliminates all federal funding for abstinence-only education and replaces it with sexual education.

The abstinence only program belongs in church which is where all men and women will have their children from birth through college with their own tired rears parked in a pew along with them if they had any sense.

Everything I believe and will use my last ounce of strength to pass on, I learned in church — not my elementary, middle or high schools. We need parents who are willing to get active and get their children participating in the faith. Start them young and when they are old, they will return to it, isn’t just a passive admonition.

Who in the hell wants a teacher in the public school system talking to their kids about sex anyway. That’s MY JOB as a parent. I’d give any teacher a horrendous tongue lashing if they dared counsel my child on his sexual behavior. Trust me, they’d NEVER make THAT mistake again. It’s private, personal, a moral issue and ethical issue. I’ll decide when and where my child is ready to talk about it. I will decide how human sexuality is explained. I will give my child my honest, educated assessment of the theology of the body. THAT’S MY JOB — as for me and my house, we serve the Lord. What you do in YOUR house is up to you.

Glad to point it out. No way you can keep up with the unbelievable amount of crap coming out of this administration. So much on a daily basis that even huge stories of last week get forgotten because there is always something else huge happening!!!!

Glenn Beck mentioned that Obama was cutting in half the benefits to be paid to the families of fallen police officers. I haven't done any searching on this yet. Have you found that one?

No there isn't. That is why I started "the list". Conservatives needed an easy to follow narrative with links. Many people forward me information that is posted here and to the website. The history with footnotes and as links to stories is very persuasive to liberals- or to anyone who wants to know the truth.
