But McCain was not born on a Naval base. He was born off base in the town of Colon.

McCain was born on the Naval submarine base. Here's a link to the birth announcement in the Panamanian paper, originally posted by the WaPo (it's on the second page of the pdf file).

The birth certificate submitted with the Hollister v. McCain lawsuit, which states he was born in Colon, is a forgery.

I agree with Arguendo that it's a moot point either way.
