Gee, WSJ, I’m sure the merciless pounding by the media — including your own resident RINO Peggy Noonan — had NOTHING to do with it.
Propaganda works on the sheep, apparently.
Ankle biters strike again
While both polls used a small sample, they also used the same sampling methodology.
5% MoE
I hope you put on your asbestos undies before posting this....
I love her but she has a lot to work on.
LOL
ONOZ!!!
Next there’ll be a “rising chorus,” or a “growing consensus”!!!
Compared to what we got in the WH, Sarah is a Saint.
BS.
One year ago, those of us in Alaska knew our governor as a person. I’ve worked with her. Alaska is a small enough place where most of us have run into her sometime or another. Our approval numbers were based on personal experience.
Then came the 2008 election.
Of course, the Democrats here are the same as Democrats everywhere. Once the call had been put out to slime Sarah Palin, they joined the pack. You should see the reporting in the largest newspaper in the state, The Anchorage Daily News. As soon as Sarah started running in the election, the paper went out of its way to slime her.
The professional class of liberal up here has also been proud to file complaint after complaint, often based on nothing more than a desire to see the words “complaint” and “Palin” in a story together.
Then there are just plain folks exposed to unrelenting lies about Sarah, such as the rally where someone yelled “kill Obama” - a complete fabrication, and yet I keep running into people who believe it. Same with the stupid “I can Russia from my front door” comment, made by Tina Few, yet often ascribed to Sarah. Some people are embarressed by the media depicting her as stupid, intolerant, and so forth.
All those numbers add up. And that’s the goal.
The left is evil. No doubt about it.
Only the silly Alaskan democrats are sour on Palin.. and not all of them..
Alaska LOVEs Sara Palin..
Every day a new “ethics” charge is filed against her. I’m surprised they haven’t filed one against her for damaging state property by alleging Piper put her chewing gum under the desk.
I agree with many of these responses to you post, however, the article ignores an important element Palin has experienced. The many Democrats of Alaska may have loved her as a Governor, based upon her good management skills, but then began to despise her when the idea that she might lead the country away from the left-bent they want for national issues (abortion, homosexuality, etc.) She cannot affect these state-wide, but nationally she would be dangerous to them.

There May Be No Better Sign Of McCains Growing Strength In New Hampshire Than Romney Attack Ad.
There may be no better sign of Sen. John McCains growing strength in New Hampshire than Mitt Romneys decision to go negative today on him in a statewide television ad.
(Susan Davis, Romney Goes Negative In New Hampshire, The Wall Street Journals Washington Wire Blog, 12/28/07)
Therefore, one wonders if this is yet another Team Romney attack.
Alaska PING!
Before they were told, the Democrats didn’t know they were supposed to hate her, so they liked her. Just like Arlen Specter thought Justice required Coleman getting the Senate Seat, before he was told what he was supposed to believe.
As has been said here....Polls are instruments of propaganda when used this way. Screw the WSJ!
Not even the tough people of Alaska can resist the constant drumming of the pop media.
Baloney......Americans and Alaskans are REALLY SOUR ON PELOSI.
WSJ.... me know when you get your “power of reason” back, ‘cause you guys have lost it.
Take a BHO poll in Alaska......and get back with me about how horrible Sarah’s Numbers are.
If they are tired of her in Alaska, let her move to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. Washington, D.C.
