Time to “blow up the team.”

You may have something there.

But, let's not blow them up.

Let's trade for a better team.

We, the voters, are the team makers. And the self-appointed team of "republicans" are not representing their constituency the way that constituency wants to be represented.

Who knows better than the republican and conservative voters what they want? It's quite obvious that the republican leadership is out of touch with "their" voters.

So, why not form our own team? A team of republican voters that can counter what the "leadership" thinks will remake or re-brand the party. We the people are the party. And we know what we want. We certainly are not looking for more of the same which got republicans voted out.

We don't want any more McCains or Bushes or Lindseys or Romneys. Who do they think they are? Republicans? The "republicanism" they represent is not the republicanism that republican and conservative voters want or need. Those "leaders" may think that re-branding is the way to go, but if that re-branding means moving republicans away from the traditional values that won for us in 1980 and 1994, then it really is time for totally new leadership.

Why become "democrat-light" just to compete? If we wanted democrat-light, we would vote for moderate democrats. We want right of center republicans and preferably, real conservatives. As of right now, the only one in that "re-branding" committee that we conservatives can respect is Palin. Hopefully she won't be corrupted by the rest of those "liberal-republicans" in that committee.

We had our "tea parties" to demonstrate how angered we are about out-of-control spending and high-taxes. So, what's to stop us, the people, the ones that really count, from holding more "tea parties" against our "re-branding", "left of center", republican leadership? They need to listen to us and they need to stop re-defining what republicanism and conservatism means.
