These idiots go batsh*t for about $3.50 worth of free chicken. It doesn't matter that standing in a long line for something that costs less than a pack of smokes may not be worth their time (For me, at least, time IS money). Heck, how many of them were hungry and/or in the mood for KFC anyway?
Just imagine what they would do after a natural disaster if they were hungry and saw you with food.

The truly bizarre part is that the coupon is good until the 19th. If the restaurant near you runs out, COME BACK another time. Yes, but Oprah had these coupons to download from her website, thus providing an unlimited supply. I would imagine people just printed dozens of these and then tried to get in and out as often as they could, planning to repeat the process the next day and so forth until the offer expired.

It’s the IT guys at coupon.com who dropped the ball.
The service was supposed to limit the coupon to serial-numbered one-printing-only coupons, but it crashed and burned within 18 hours, so they panicked and put a non-serial-numbered coupon in a PDF on their website.
