WASHINGTON (CNN) - Rush Limbaugh fired back at Colin Powell for his critical comments earlier this week, saying Wednesday that the former secretary of state should join the Democratic Party.
"What Colin Powell needs to do is close the loop and become a Democrat instead of claiming to be a Republican interested in reforming the Republican Party," Limbaugh said on his radio show Wednesday.

Rush used to annoy me. I’m not sure why.
But lately, he’s the only person I trust to live true.

Agreed. Like Specter, if Powell became a Democrat it would simply be making official what has been true for a while now.

If these RINO’s cannot hold true to the values and morals that we conservatives hold dear, then they may leave the party post-haste - yes, that includes Powell. The GOP needs people of strong belief and character. Not people who place a wet finger in the air to see which way the wind is blowing before taking a position on issues.

Voting for Obama is being a democrat or at best acting in racial favoritism. Neither properly portrays a man of his former positions in life.
I could understand him not voting for anyone and then having an opinion, but he's just back stabber telling us how to die.

The GOP needs a huge enema to rid itself of these so-called spokesmen for the GOP, like Colon Powell, Megan McCain, Joe Scarborough, Christine Whitman and other liberals.

If Hannity would stop yelling for the entire time he's on radio, I may listen more often. But that is as probable as O’Reilly letting a guest finish a sentence.

RUSH: The Last MAN Standing!
To: Glenn
This whole Republicans have to change garbage is an Orwellian Government / Liberal / MSM attempt to neuter the opposition. Everywhere you turn the same party line. Reaganism / conservatism dead. See how far off constitutional principles we are. Used to be the ideal was a nation of laws, not men. Now we have a president who was elected solely because the color of his skin (not at all because of his character or qualifications) and the rush to lawless government by the whim of man is on.
