Mr. Powell really does have a screw loose.
Pity.

Someone tell me why I should listen to this old racist?
(If Powell isn’t a racist, list all the inexperienced white radical liberals Powell has supported.)

When Colin Powell can explain the dismal quality of care in VA hospitals (been there, done that), then he can explain how Americans want to pay taxes for “more” services.
He’s never been a Republican.
He showed last year that race matters more than principal.

“Americans do want to pay taxes for services,” he said. “Americans are looking for more government in their life, not less.”
Man, I used to like this dude!

Colin Powell has yet to realize that he is irrelevant as well as senile.

From what he has said over the years I don’t get the impression he is *obviously* intelligent. I’m sure he has mad skills in some areas, but general intelligence? It’s certainly not obvious to me.
And really, who cares what a democrat says about the Republican party? It’s like getting advice on your game plan from the opposing team.

Yes.
We all know by now that there’s no shortage of liberals who wish to transform the Republican party into the Democrat Lite party.
In some respects, they have already done so.
Hopefully this will all stop and we can return to a world where Republican = Conservative.

I think Powell is posting here on FR. I'm fairly certain I've seen him voicing his concerns for the GOP and Sarah on several threads.

“Honestly, when you read opinions like this from such an obviously intelligent gentleman, you have to wonder what world he’s currently living in.”
I disagree. With opinions like this he is obviously NOT intelligent. That, or he is outright lying. Either way, I have no use for the liberal, racist blow hard. Never have.
To: Sub-Driver
Colin Powell? You mean “black Specter”?
To: Sub-Driver
Powell, taking time from endorsing Obama and working nonstop with the DNC,
lied, "The Republican Party is in deep trouble, Americans do want to pay taxes for services,
Americans are looking for more government in their life, not less."
