Undoubtedly. But in a dedicated integrally-suppressed rifle with a short 7” internal barrel having perforations designed to ensure subsonic performance from conventional 22LR (for obvious reasons) this is not the case.

(I suspect that the issue of suppressors is rather Churchillian, as never have so many who know so little expressed so much that is so wrong with so much confidence).
