Great speaker!! What makes his speech great is that it’s from the heart. I’d love to hear O and Keyes in a debate - it will never happen - O and his teleprompter wouldn’t want to be in that situation. Thanks for the post.

Interesting that the VERY FIRST TIME any of us heard the name “Barack Obama” it was as the guy who Keyes went to Illinois to run against, and get that Senate seat. I am from Chicago, and I am not surprised Keyes did not win.
Keyes has a very special and personal animosity for Obama and for good reason/

Would he be seriously willing to run again for POTUS, or is he really done with that? He would definitely be at a disadvantage in either an Independent run for POTUS or in a run for President from within the Constitution Party, if he ever does seriously decide to run again for POTUS. I’m also seriously concerned that leftists will decide to not even have elections in ‘10, ‘12, and/or beyond.

I was sad but not shocked he didn’t win. I have lots of family in Chicago and want the best for it.

Ambassador Keyes has a point. The Master said, upon this rock I shall build my Church, and the Gates of Hell shall not prevail against it. Passing over the meaning of the rock in this scripture, an obvious and long-standing bone of contention between Catholics and Protestants, the "gates" of the city in the ancient world was where folks gathered at the end of the day to share information, introduce strangers and otherwise "relate to one another."

Elsewhere, I remember several references to the gates as having this and other broader meanings than just the obvious gate... Perhaps a University?

I know one of the first things John Paul II did when he took upon the vesture was to remove the priesthood from public office. Father Drinan (D-Mass) had to resign from Congress, and he did, even though he was as screaming a liberal as any of the Kennedys

I can get the disconnect Catholic Christians have with their own Orthodoxy. When did the Church become a Democracy?

"They shall not be ashamed of their enemies at the gates,"

Oh, I don't doubt that he would consider running again. Someone may correct me on this.

I don't know what may happen in the future but anyone with a mind and a heart should have dark forebodings regarding this administration.

At the time, I believed that that race was a life or death battle for the presidency. I knew that the devil's hand was on Obama. It seemed to me that God was offering us a "last chance" -dramatic choice between good and evil. And we chose evil, by an overwhelming margin.

Thanks! Keyes rocked - you can almost feel O’s BP rising while Keyes was speaking. IMO, with voter fraud in play, Keyes never had a chance.

Jer 32:33-35 They have turned to me their back and not their face. And though I have taught them persistently, they have not listened to receive instruction.
They set up their abominations in the house that is called by my name, to defile it.
They built the high places of Baal in the Valley of the Son of Hinnom, to offer up their sons and daughters to Molech, though I did not command them, nor did it enter into my mind, that they should do this abomination..........

This stench will reach the nostrils of God and in His time there will be no place to hide.
