Would you please provide me with something that shows that drug addicts can get SSI or SSDI because of their addiction?

It’s true. I know a fellow who worked at Social Security. And he did verify this for me many years ago. He said at the time that they were going to get tougher on the criteria but yes they consider addiction a disability.
