I’m a Mormon that didn’t support Romney, but I see the Romney-haters have seized on this and come to the conclusion that it was a jab at Palin. It was not. It was a jab at Time and at the MSM for ignoring Republicans.
Hate him if you want, but hate intelligently.

... and come to the conclusion that it was a jab at Palin. It was a jab at Palin, there is no way to spin it as anything else.

I'm not a Romney-hater, he was my third choice after Hunter and Thompson, but as I say this strikes me as tone-deaf.
The jist of the rest of the article is that the GOP swells are trying to ignore Palin, they don't get that it is the GOP rank and file that loves her.
Shes bigger in the media than in reality, commented GOP consultant Mike Murphy, a longtime adviser to John McCain.
No, the media hates her as much as apparently the GOP bigshots do. Its the ordinary folk who love her.

My take as well. I think Palin could beat Romney in a statewide contest in Utah, but he cannot make a joke (albeit a poor one) without the hate Romney cabal going ballistic.
Earth to Moonbats: Read the whole damn article! Eric Cantor and others were exchanging good-natured jabs. Some of the jokes were good, some of them were flat. Let's stop taking ourselves too seriously.
