“Ayer Head” Professor Defends Terrorist Ayers
AIM Report ^ | May 3, 2009 | Cliff Kincaid

Posted on 05/04/2009 9:46:42 AM PDT by Conservative Coulter Fan

A curious thing happened after AIM editor Cliff Kincaid's column, "'Ayer Head' Professor Defends Bill Ayers," was posted on Sunday night, April 5, 2009. An FBI document about the Weather Underground, which was hyperlinked in the column, was changed by the FBI to delete a reference to the terrorist group. The "Ayer Head" Professor, Dan Kennedy of Northeastern University in Boston, admits he is the one who prompted the FBI to make the curious change. It is all part of an effort to try to separate Ayers, a leader of the Weather Underground and associate of President Barack Obama, from the murders that his group was responsible for.

Obama says Terrorist Ayers is mainstream. Obama says mainstream Americans are “potential” terrorists. I know which side of this disagreement worries me.

Tom Wolfe wrote about Radical Chic and the Left’s love of domestic terrorists.

There were people who provided safe harbor of the Weather Underground for 5 years while they were wanted by the FBI. They were co-conspirators.

Let’s see, go to a pro life rally and you get labelled as a right wing extremist. Bomb police precincts and you get hailed as an education reformer. Do I about have it right?

One of the conclusions is that Eric Holder intends to "use" these people as a private army to do jobs none of his Justice Department subordinates are willing or able to do.

So, how do I come up with what seems to be, on the surface, an outlandish idea?

Well, one of the items leading me to the conclusion is the events described in this story. However, way back when, a young lady who'd been a White House intern was murdered, along with several others, at a Star Bucks about a block away from the White House itself.

Folks immediately speculated on there being a Clinton White House involvement, and many top level people throughout the Washington DC power establishment said this was the kind of case that needed FBI investigative involvement immediately.

Well, wouldn't you know it, Eric Holder was the US Attorney for the District of Columbia at the time and he elected to let the DC police handle the investigation.

They got nowhere.

People asked why Holder would let this case languish given it's close relationship to the White House. Eventually it became a general conclusion on the part of many that Eric Holder must, himself, have thought someone in the White House was involved so he was going to "protect them" by making sure there was no high quality investigation of the event.

This went on for months and finally Eric figured out none of his friends were involved (or that he'd gotten a patsy for the deal) and he let the FBI in. It was reported the killer had confessed and even told them where the guns he used were ~ but, alas, there were no guns there nor any sign there ever had been guns.

That problem continues to nag this case. The fact that Eric Holder could come up with a patsy willing to take the rap for someone in the White House is amazing enough, but if you can do that you can also create your own "private hit team" to take care of "other problems".

No one should trust Eric Holder when it comes to terrorists or killers. He may well consider them his best allies.

The DC Police They got nowhere?

They were very busy? OTOH, I agree that this baffling case would have been more smartly handled by The Park Police.

Where is Katherine Ann Power today? Does she teach or practice law?

Looks and smells like a cover-up..but why now? Could it be that some of these links that the FBI are erasing might be traced to an upcoming ‘appointment’ to the Supremes?

According the Southern Poverty Law Center, you’re a right wing extremist if you believe that Western Culture is superior to others.

Ayers was invited to Brandeis by the Students for a Democratic Society. Powers and Saxe were founding members of the Brandeis SDS which became the Weather Underground.

So next time anyone here wants to blow a building up just say you hope to eventually become a professor. You will be off the hook. If you are a Liberal.

Got that connection..thanks. I was just wondering where she is now. My guess is that she (or her attorney/s after she came forward in 1993) have some connection to who-ever Obama wants to replace Souter. Why else wait until now to scrub records of her involvement in the whole thing?

Just wild speculation on my part of course. It just seems curious that Mr. Holder is on a ‘jihad’ to protect her name after it has been out there for so long. Is he protecting Ayers or others or all of them?

The CIC and his cabal will re-write and purge until Ayers is compared to one of the Founding Fathers.

Fellow Travellers on the Left are absolved of any wrong doing ever. Until they are no longer useful to the Party. Then under the bus they go.

Stalin had a habit of having them painted out of photos if they were no longer politically supported.
