Cowell Wants Obama Star Power on 'Idol'

Simon Cowell has invited President Barack Obama and his family to appear on “American Idol.”

The cantankerous chief justice of the supreme show made the invitation via a statement to the Hollywood Reporter.

“We would put out an invitation on a daily basis,” Cowell said. “I’d love him [Obama] to come on, his wife to come on, kids to come on. I could only picture now what it would be like if he actually turned up.”

As to why the prez should go on the reality show, Cowell crowed, “He’s a rock star.”

The “American Idol president” should rightfully pay respects to the mentality that helped to spawn him.

Dear God, we already have to put up with him on every other form of media. If I had a $1 for every time I've seen picture of BO, his shrew of a wife and/or their spawn on the cover of a magazine at the grocery check out I wouldn't have to work for the rest of the year.

Every blasted time I turn on the TV I see sycophantic media types getting the vapors over everything that family does. If they go on American Idol it will be the last time I ever watch that show, I can't take it anymore. Every day I feel like I got on the crazy train and got off in another universe. If anyone would have told me a year ago all that BO would have done to ruin this country in just the first 3 months of his reign I never would have believed them.
