Organizers of this week's National Day of Prayer still don't know whether the White House will participate.
The event's evangelical character earned it a White House welcome during President George W. Bush's eight years in office. But Brian Toon, vice chairman of the National Day of Prayer Task Force, says to date, there's been no mention of a White House observance being held this year.

I suppose if everyone isn’t praying to “The One”, then he will order a boycott.
I believe that O’bama HATES Christianity. Of course, he’s a Muslim so he feels threatened by the mention of Jesus Christ.
The interesting thing about this story is it is an AP story.
Just like marriage is for homosexuals.
I'll end the suspense for you, Brian. There won't be.
The interesting thing about this story is the fact we live in a country with a group of total losers like this in the White House period. It just gets worse and scarier every day.
you mean the antichrist doesn’t want to pray for the nation.
The First Muslim is too busy bending over for Mecca five times a day.
George Soros is a secularist just as he is anti-American....he is the puppet master.
They have GOT to be kidding!
This “nonbelievers” phrase, which Barack Obama used in his innaugural adress, irks me.
I say this because in his speech, he mentioned Christians, Jews, muslims, and non-believers. Only Islam sees the three identified faiths as “legit” because they are from “The Book”.
All other faiths (including Hinduism, Buddhism, Scientology, Paganism, Wiccan, Atheism...) are lumped together under some interpretations of that “non-believers” catch-all.

I sure hope they all didn't eat beans beforehand.
I never really paid much attention previously, but now that I look at it, it seems rather odd.
Just don’t nobody light a match.

Apparently, all things GWB are not being done. I saw somewhere yesterday that he will only “proclaim” the National Day of Prayer and not hold an event at the WH - GWB was the first to invite the Dobson’s for an observance on the National Day of Prayer.
I was just so glad they didn’t take the picture from the “other perspective”...
This picture almost SCREAMS for a Photoshop of some kind portraying exactly what you're speaking of. You know...clouds of putrid vapors...that kind of thing.
