Actually, Christ spoke out against the Pharisees, those who chose “religious practices” over Christ. I do the same.
Christians are called to defend the faith. That is what we do.
When "the church" gets rid of the 60,000 plus missionaries that go door to door and tell Christians that their faith is 'abominable' (I Nephi 13:26-29) and mormonism is the "only true church", and SLC stops airing commercials promising "free Bibles" just to get names and addresses for those missionaries to contact, come back and tell us about how "they are glued forever to the church and fighting it" and "just won't leave it alone".
It always amuses me that mormons claim the right to proselytize FOR, and condemn the right to proselytize AGAINST.
