Laura Ingraham said it pretty well on Fox News Sunday this morning.

The Democrats didn't win control of Congress and the White House by "broadening their appeal," they won it by building upon the far Left base.

Why should the Republican Party have to "reach out" to "moderates" and "broaden their appeal?"

Conservatives need to educate voters; awaken them to the fact that in Conservatism lies their (non-spiritual) salvation.

You want jobs? Conservatism is the only political philosophy which leads to job creation.
You want Liberty? Conservatism is the only political philosophy which embraces personal Liberty.
You want security? Conservatism is the only political philosophy which offers security while preserving your Liberty.

In every instance, on every issue, Conservatism offers better answers with more freedom and less governmental intrusion and control.

What possible value can ‘moderates’ have at this time? Anyone who can’t bring themselves to pick a side now is as useless as some moron who believes he’d be safe squatting in no man’s land during a fire fight.
