Palin cannot win - although I really like her - there is no need to bet on a female at the top of the ticket at this time - VP, OK once again. Although, if more than a few get behind her early, I just may jump on board.
All I’m saying is that FR can make a difference in 2012 if someone is ID’ed early and close to 100% of the posters here can get behind that candidate.
Just because McCain picked her for the second position doesn’t mean that it’s an automatic run for her in 2012. The fact is, I’m not sure that she even has that fire in the belly that is needed to go through the process - don’t know that she really wants to be POTUS, actually it’s hard to understand why anyone wants to be POTUS, but there are those that do.
Once again, PALIN CANNOT WIN AT THE TOP OF THE TICKET.
That’s my belief and I’m sticking to it.
The next GOP POTUS is not on the radar yet, but we will know him when we see him.
Gov. Palin is absolutely the leader of the GOP,
the biggest draw in their herstory, and should
be respected by the women-hating RINOs like Romney.
Oh please spare us that disgusting phrase. There was only ONE group that I've ever seen use it, here and outside of FR -- and that was when it was thrown around like dung by people who didn't like Fred Thompson way back in the early primaries.
If I didn't know better, I'd think you are just a retread of that gang, hoping that it will work as well if you fling it at Sarah than when you flung it at Fred. One thing you can say about Romney -- he's got "fire in the belly," alright. Fire that manifests as ruthless opportunism and near obsession. The man spent millions, never gets a rise out of the audience in his speeches (watch the CPAC speech), is documented to have flip-flopped and then flop-flipped -- and he keeps going, like the Terminator. Yep, he's got fire in the belly, for sure.
"Fire in the belly" is a bullsh*t qualifier. Obama had it -- so what?
