I see we are from the same state Chase. Yes and it happened in one of our little ‘podunk’ towns. The religion part just may be a standard question and that’s what I told my brother because the ‘extended’ inmates may have the right to a clergy of choice at some point during their incarceration. I don’t know but I think I would of answered ‘non-applicable’
Ok you guys are rid of me now. I’ve killed my day on here and need to brush-hog my yard (in the rain). Thanks for putting up with a ‘wordy’ fellow freeper this afternoon.
If we stand UNITED, maybe we can save this Titanic yet. It’s not about Republicans, Democrats or any other label, It’s about the Constitution!
“Im not sure about that as his - civilian national security force - will be just as well funded as our military and even worse theyll consist of our children. How can one oppose them with armed opposition?”
It will never get that far!
Ah, I see now about the religion - what you said makes sense. Yes, NY which is getting more and more expensive by the day. Lots of people leaving - I’d love to follow but my dtr who lives nearby cries anytime I mention it. I really enjoyed talking to you Outlaw (and all the other posters) and hope we meet again on FR. I don’t post much but have recently decided to get more involved and where better than FR.
Good luck with your yard work. :)
From your lips to God’s ears Cheetahcat. Now I’d better get off my butt and prepare the dinner...stew on this cold and rainy day. :)
Thank you Chase hope to see you again too. I was mistaken about our states, I thought you had a Missouri flag. Anyway it’s happening in ‘flyover’ country now. (you can see how far I’ve gotten with the yard! lol)
“From your lips to Gods ears Cheetahcat. Now Id better get off my butt and prepare the dinner...stew on this cold and rainy day. :)”
God be with you and Best Regards.
You're fooling yourself.
I’m sorry, I should have said “I disagree with the writer of this article”.
See post 108.
No. I am suggesting that we be careful, very careful, of what we say here. Look at the thug tactics the Obama administration used in the Chrysler “deal”. I think that FReepers could be charged with conspiracy on the slightest pretext.
Perhaps we will need to go underground, if FR gets shut down. We need to prepare for that contingency. I regard it as a not improbable event.
You're still not getting it. Being "careful, very careful" is a withdrawal - a contraction. The very act of withdrawing or contracting draws things toward you. This is a law of nature.
In the real world, you don't get your enemy to leave you alone by being quiet, or pretending to be harmless. That's how you get dead.
In the real world, you need to wear frightening war paint on your face and hang your enemy's heads on pointy sticks around your camp to get the message across.
You need to make the occasional raid into your enemy's camp and burn it to the ground just to keep them on edge, and on notice that you are a dangerous and fearsome tribe.
That's how things work in the real world, my friend.
If you're afraid of being in the company outspoken patriots, then perhaps you should get off FR now and find a good hiding place.
You are right.
Sorry to put it so bluntly, but it’s the truth.
There’s a morale-breaking attitude among some in our camp that the “enemy” is bigger and stronger than we are, and that to be safe, we should temper our words and deeds in public.
Both of those thoughts just happen to be false, and neither will lead to peace, safety, or freedom for America.
We are still at a stage where we can affect the politics and governance of this country with our voices alone. If we fail to be overtly vocal, and in great numbers at this time, the situation will worsen to a point where only open resistance can answer the attacks against us.
