“Im very disappointed that Haley Barbour and Bobby Jindal are associated with this group.”
Those stinking closet liberals. /sarc
Ain’t that the truth?
lol
“Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush said Saturday that it’s time for the Republican Party to give up its “nostalgia” for the heyday of the Reagan era”
Out the damn Bushies, we’ve had enough of them, old man Bush “no new taxes” fell to Bill Clinton. GWB, let the RATS beat the hell out him, he helped nationalize the banks, fought for legalizing illegals....and ultimately contributed to the RAT takeover we’re now undergoing.
That’s just a plain silly notion. Our side doesn’t have a problem with optimism. Theirs does. I will admit, though, Jeb may have a point in one sense.
There are many Reagan Democrats in Florida. This is how 5-mistress Mahoney won, and Crist ran ads that made him look “Reaganesque”. Reagan Democrats in Florida voted Obama, and Obama too used the Reagan style, purely in the esoteric sense, but it worked for him.
Maybe Jeb, it would behoove to run WITH Reagan, like RINOs and Democrats have been doing, instead of trying to run AGAINST Reagan!
i know 6 Women catechism teachers that fell for the Obama line Hope and Change and they are anti Obama NOW!!Three were at the tea Parties..
It seems Mr. Curl is putting words in Jeb’s mouth to push a Rat talking point. Sorry, not buying what you got to sale.
Well- We have to find our community organizer & form our own ACORNS!!
Stealing elections is the only way RATS win.
By the time zerO gets done taking this country down the drain - the heyday of the Reagan era is going to look mighty good!!
You did tell them that verbal repentence is not enough ~ that they must take action ~
Where does Jeb stand on amnesty?
Or, alternatively, since voter registrations don't get changed that fast, the pollster is simply setting us up for a situation where the majority of people he samples can be called Independents.
That will allow him to discount the opinions of those with a political affiliation. That, in turn, allows the pollster to detach the resuting poll results from politics.
Trying to figure out why the pollster would want to do that, but there it is.
I haven’t paid much attention to Jeb, as I don’t live in Florida.
We've been warning conservatives about all of the Bushes for years, and have paid the price here on FR.
Actually, if you look closely at the polling, you will see that it clearly shows that those who are leaving off self-identifying as Republicans are now self-identifying as Independents.
Go ahead and leave Reagan behind, I am sure the Dems will take him and one day will be implying that (like Lincoln) he was “really” a Democrat. Go to GOOGLE and type in the words “Obama quotes Reagan”....Hey Jeb, one of the somethings they have is that they try to identify with Reagan. I REALLY don’t think Reagan is the problem.
I would like to see how far Bush III gets without the grassroots; which by the way, are more aliened with Gov. Palin than any of these RINO’s. They tried to get Gov. Palin to join them but so far She has declined to join good for her. Gov. Palin has the grassroots and the RINO’s do not. I say no more DC elites or political aristocrats.
Then you should have no problem with me telling you that words are not being put in Jeb’s mouth. BTW, Jeb is for amnesty.
Oh, Jeb Bush believes in something - and he won’t compromise on it. As with his brother, Jeb believes strongly in total Amnesty for 20 millions illegal aliens.
Never mind that the majority of American citizens (and an even greater majority of Republicans) - do not support Amnesty... Jeb knows better - better than mere citizens...
Never mind that it is a false belief that Americans who are Hispanic blindly support illegal immigration - and are that they are one issue voters...
Never mind that John McAmnesty proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that promising Amnesty will not buy votes...
... Hispanics voted overwhelmingly for Obama to get a big piece of the socialistic pie - not just for Amnesty.
Never mind that no matter what is promised the vast majority of Hispanics nationally will always vote DEM. and will NEVER vote in the majority for Republicans.
Perhaps having a Hispanic wife colors one’s attitude... But more likely Jeb just believes in shifting allegiances and not holding principles - Jeb believes anything goes to get elected...
Jeb Bush is one of those politicos who believes HE KNOWS BETTER - after all Jeb is among the ELITE and he is obligated to tell the people what to do (rather than finding out what they want)...
Sadly do say this also goes for Rudy, Mitt, George W. and far too many more...
The conservative principled approach of the father and son Hunters of California make no sense to the ELITE
I believe you need to re-read post #33 and my post at #54 then re-think your reply to me.
The Republican change was simply not enough to account for the rise in Independent.
Unless you're into Louie Farakan's math.
