She knows how to thread a needle (and that takes smarts), when I saw that McCain ad come out I groaned because she was just another liberal, but when I watched it I was amazed to see that she had managed at that late stage of the campaign, in the heat battle when it was too late for humor because every one’s blood was so hot, to thread the needle in that ad and actually come off OK.
I also read that the director of the ad had meant it to be a slam at McCain but she managed to make it come off neutral and without malice.
