Jerusalem Post: Bibi Considering Land for Iran
Jerusalem Newswire ^ | May 01, 2009 | Stan Goodenough

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is reportedly contemplating making a deal with the Obama administration in an effort to encourage a more forceful American response to the Iranian regime.

According to The Jerusalem Post Thursday, Netanyahu may agree to some form of implementation of the so-called Arab peace plan in exchange for an American pledge to more robustly oppose Tehran's nuclear program.

This Arab plan calls for Israel to withdraw from all land it has controlled since the Six Day War - including Judea, Samaria, the Dead Sea/Jordan Valley and the Golan Heights - and the granting of blanket rights for all "Palestinian" "refugees" to "return home."

In exchange for this abandonment of historical and biblical Jewish lands and the opening of the doors to an Arab deluge - acts which will mean national suicide - the Arab states say seductively, they will establish full, normal relations with what will be left of Israel.

Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman has signaled Washington and Europe of the new Israeli government's intention to revise the repeatedly-failed land-for-peace approach to the Israeli-"Palestinian" conflict.

Netanyahu is expected to face enormous pressure to change this stance when he visits Washington on May 18.

It is already in play: President Barack Obama and his state department have repeatedly if diplomatically rejected any Israeli questioning of the viability of the "two-state-solution."

Pundits expect that Netanyahu will be accorded a frosty reception at the White House and that Obama's gloves will come off. Administration officials answering journalists' questions in this way, "assured" them that the president was looking forward to hosting the Israeli.

In part because of the widespread media speculation, Netanyahu's policy review team is understood to be brainstorming ways to avoid any form of clash that could harden Obama's heart towards Israel.

But concerned critics warn that any indication by Netanyahu of a willingness to soften his stand on land-for-peace could backfire; Obama could wield it as proof that Israel is not really ready to reject this policy as bankrupt, and insist that Israel continue to embrace it whether or not the US change the way it deals with Iran.

Netanyahu has to continue to insist that Hamas and Fatah drop their state of war against Israel, recognize Israel, normalize relations with Israel, PERIOD, before anything else can happen. If they don't drop the state of war, Israel will eliminate the threat through force of arms.

I say "Time is of the essence." Israel will have to attack IRAN alone one way or another. President ZERO likes our enemies and hates our allies. The “visit” has been scheduled and we can figure out the results. ISRAEL will have to attack IRAN on its own.

ZERO will not be soft for ISRAEL, he has ALREADY abandoned them. The delivery of arms* to Lebanon without informing Israel. Joint Turkish (NATO* member), Lebanon and Syria. ZERO wishing IRAN to allow US troops to traverse IRAN on the way to Afghanistan. ETC. * I think that NATo and the sold arms were basically US and thus OBAMA acted without “negotiations” and will, no matter what, say ISREAL failed to negotiate in good faith.

As the UN is pro MuZI, and Israel will loose all around and still face probable annihilation by IRAN, any negotiations MAY influence ARABS who are of a different persuasion than IRAN, SAUDI ARABIA for one.

My hunch is he will roll a lot of shiny objects around to keep Barry distracted as he sets about protecting his country.

That is a hilarious metaphor.

Metaphore? I thought he would do it as it will work. It was a great comment.

ZERO is easily dazzled, as evidenced by -0- fawning over IRAN. “Iran has long employed terrorism to advance its key national security and foreign policy interests, which include regime survival, regional dominance, opposition to Arab-Israeli peace, and countering western influence, particularly in the Middle East,” the report said. Not only prophetic, but right on time. Six months into his rein the anti-christ makes an agreement with Israel. Three and a half years he breaks the deal and triggers the last war. Three and a half years is right at the end of his term. He will not step down, even if reelected. Rearrange the deck chairs children, this ship is going down. Maranatha!

The Associated Press 22 April 2009

WASHINGTON (AP) - President Barack Obama will invite the Israeli, Palestinian and Egyptian leaders to the White House in the coming weeks for separate talks on moving forward with the Middle East peace process, the White House said Tuesday.

Spokesman Robert Gibbs said the president was issuing the invitations in hopes of building on talks he held earlier in the day with Jordan’s King Abdullah II, a steadfast Arab ally in the Middle East, which has made peace with Israel, as has Egypt.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak will be asked to sit down with the president in the coming weeks, Gibbs said. No dates were set. Abbas runs the Palestinian controlled West Bank, but faces a strong challenge for overall authority from the increasingly powerful and militant Hamas faction that runs the Gaza Strip and is relentless in calling for the destruction of Israel.

After meeting the Jordanian monarch, Obama said he expected Israelis and Palestinians to make ‘gestures of good faith’ within months to revive the languishing Mideast peace process.

Obama said he remained committed to pushing for a two-state solution: separate Israeli and Palestinian states existing side-by-side in peace.

Former President George W. Bush also had sought a framework for such a deal, but it did not happen before the end of his presidency.
3 minutes ago - 4 days left to answer.

We might be closer to the RAPTURE with this than we ever have friends!
