It’s the same for me today when it comes to Obama pornography, it’s hard to define, but I know it when I see it. For the first time in history we’ve got a product placement President and his machine is pushing Obama porn.
Yesterday while strolling through the aisles of my local Barnes & Noble I was assaulted by fourteen magazines with Obama spread across their covers, all in differing poses, two included his wife in close embrace. In the history section forced upon my eyes in plain sight were 23 hardcover books with this political porn star upon it. Michelle Obama even had two books of her own, one a biography, and the other, I believe, was about her fashion sense. I didn’t open the book, I’m not that sort of guy, but I think it had something to do with “going sleeveless.”
As a grown up I was okay with the Obama porn smeared all over the adult sections, but, when I reached the far corner of the store, next to the knee-high chairs and stuffed animals I almost lost it.

My local library has 3 or 4 new Obama books on the new book shelf every week. Ugh.
The difference is the ‘The Lovers’ wasn’t porn and is quite tame by today’s standards. What can the political porn of the future generations hold?
Today at Walmart I walked past the little posters section and on the side was a small Obama poster and somebody had scratched an X across his face! lol

I get Previews, which is a monthly catalog of comic books, graphic novels, magazines, and other pop culture items. It is unbelievable just how many comic book companies have cranked out comics with BHO as the hero-not in an historical “first black president” way, but as a superhero, “barbarian warrior”, zombie fighter , or some-such nonsense. And these items (for the moment) don’t seem to be considered ironic -they were actually created with serious intent, so far as I can tell from the blurbs. It is just unreal. Admittedly, most of these are being cranked out by small, independent comic book “houses” which may have only 1-5 titles ...But still.
What does that mean?
Well, Mojito, if you were offended by it why didn’t you complain to the management? Going back to your computer and posting an article on FR is NOT ‘doing something’ about the problem! Go back to the store, go up to the counter, and demand to see the manager. Tell him/her that you are offended by the blatant display of Obama porn and that you would like to see it removed or covered up so you don’t have to be offended. This is the behavior we expect from the whacko left, Muslims, gays, etc. Why shouldn’t we use it?
Whoops, sorry Mojito, I should have addressed my commnets to Joseph Lindsey. The point is, why aren’t we conservatives more outspoken and active about our point of view?
