According to school board policy, new names of schools, programs, mascots and logos "shall reflect the diversity of the district," and all name changes need to be approved by the school board, "in consultation with the school community."

I want my kids' school renamed the "Barack and Michelle Obama, Klan Exalted Cyclops Robert C. Byrd, Todd Palin, Felipe Calderon, and Mao Zedong Elementary School and Diversity Indoctrination Center". It has a nice, musical sound.

King County, Washington was named after some early, white guy that helped develop Seattle or something. Last year, they officialy “renamed it” King County - after Martin Luther King. His face is now on all of the King County vehicles, emblems, etc. Very Orwellian - creepy.

In another ten years I imagine it will be “renamed” King County again, with images of “The One” plastered on the side of county vehicles.
