“No contact anywhere with an illegal alien!” conservative talk show host Michael Savage advised his U.S. listeners this week on how to avoid the swine flu. “And that starts in the restaurants" where he said, you “don’t know if they wipe their behinds with their hands!”
And Thursday, Boston talk radio host Jay Severin was suspended after calling Mexican immigrants "criminalians" during a discussion of swine flu and saying that emergency rooms had become "essentially condos for Mexicans."
That’s tepid compared to some of the xenophobic reactions spreading like an emerging virus across the Internet. “This disgusting blight is because MEXICANS ARE PIGS!” an anonymous poster ranted on the “prison planet” forum, part of radio host and columnist Alex Jones’ Web site.
There is even talk of conspiracy. Savage speculated that terrorists are using Mexican immigrants as walking germ warfare weapons. “It would be easy,” he said, “to bring an altered virus into Mexico, put it in the general population, and have them march across the border.”
As about 130 cases of H1N1 virus, known as swine flu, have been confirmed across the United States, from San Diego to New York City, the growing public health concern has also exposed fear and hate.

what’s funny is Michael Weiner aka Savage is a scientist and he knows full frickin well how viruses/diseases spread. This has nothing to do with immigrants or illegal aliens. In fact, my understanding is they don’t exactly how this came to be as pigs are not infected. Again, the scientifically challenged media is telling lies.
Except he’s right. Illegal aliens have brought in all kinds of diseases here. Including Swine flu. You like illegal aliens here?

He didn’t lose his 1st Amendment rights. He can still say whatever he wishes, he just won’t necessarily have someone paying him to do so.
Besides, most of the cases here have been from people vacationing in Mexico. Seems silly to confuse the two, people who have brought it back and the illegals already here.
Do they not realize that illegals are burdening our emergency rooms, hospitals, and in the hospitality industry? The new strains of Tuberculosis, syphilis...where are they coming from MSNBC? No wonder why Savage and Severin are upping the ante - GOVERNMENT AND THE MEDIA IS NOT PAYING ATTENTIION OR DON'T CARE!

Really, these guys may be making a good point, but they're acting like jackasses.

Listen, it’s important to listen to these people when they pinpoint the politically incorrect errors of people’s ways.
I mean, Obama would never take his kids out of public school just because of the flu or for their safety.

Savage and others have been talking about these problems for years and the media/gov't simply isn't listening. Can you understand his frustration? BTW, Savage has two fricking master degrees in medical botany and medial anthroplogy and a Doctorate's degree in nutritional medicine, so he knows what he's talking about. He's far more qualified to be HHS Secretary than that pro-abortion POS Sebelius.
And don't give me any crap about "stooping to their level". Everything is allowed the Left...nothing is allowed the Right.
