That is the problem with a mild flu that takes many days to show symptoms. Most people don't report it at all unless there is major media interest.

That is why the numbers, current government reports, and ongoing media coverage are totally useless.

At this point all the state, federal and international testing locations are overwhelmed with samples and their reporting is no more than a function of how quickly they can process them.
